Captain Brian Browne has been with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office since October 2015, and brings over 21 years of law enforcement experience. He is a former deputy chief of police and has over 17 years of senior management and executive level command/leadership experience. Captain Browne is a graduate of the 238th Session of the FBI National Academy, as well as a graduate of the Florida Police Chiefs’ Future Law Enforcement Executives Seminar, and the FDLE’s Advanced Leadership Course. He has worked in all areas of law enforcement to include administration, investigations, and operations. Captain Browne serves as commander of the Communications Division within the Support Services Bureau.
