Assistant Chief Deputy Paul Halle's law enforcement career began in 1985 as an officer with the Treasure Island Police Department. Joining the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 1990, Assistant Chief Halle has worked a variety of assignments at the sheriff’s office including: Patrol, Street Crimes, Field Training, Burglary, Tactical Apprehension and Control, Robbery, and the Child Protection Investigation. He previously served as commander of the Special Operations Division, Patrol Operations Bureau, and the Department of Detention and Corrections. Assistant Chief Halle earned a Masters Degree in Critical Incident Management from Saint Leo University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of South Florida. Additionally, he is a graduate of the 264th Session of the FBI National Academy, Quantico, Virginia, Saint Leo University’s Command Officers School, Leadership St. Pete Class of 2014, and is a veteran of the United States Army, where he served active duty for five years.
