What:
Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating a three vehicle crash in St. Pete Beach.

Where:
The crash took place in the area of Gulf Blvd. and 72nd Avenue in St. Pete Beach.

When:
The crash occurred at approximately 1:04 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2015.

How/Why:
Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating a three vehicle crash in St. Pete Beach.

According to deputies, the driver of a 2003 Toyota Corolla was traveling Northbound in the Southbound lanes of Gulf Blvd. when she collided head on with a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country and side swiped a 2009 Chrysler 300.

The driver of the Toyota, identified as Erica Hubbell had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The drivers of both Chryslers were also transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

The investigation continues.
