PINELLAS COUNTY - Detectives assigned to the Narcotics Division arrested two suspects following the service of a search warrant in Safety Harbor.

In July of 2022, detectives began an investigation after receiving numerous tips that individuals were selling narcotics from 1110 Withlacoochee Street in Safety Harbor. Detectives learned that this residence is also the location for two non-fatal overdoses and one fatal overdose.

During the course of the investigation, detectives discovered that a male and a female, later identified as 58-year-old Christopher Burkes and 50-year-old Stephanie Shauan, were selling narcotics from the residence.

On August 17, 2022, detectives served a search warrant at 1110 Withlacoochee Street in Safety Harbor. The following items were located:

• 9 grams of Fentanyl
• 1 Glock 43x 9MM handgun
• 221 grams of Marijuana
• Narcan Containers

The following items were located in Burkes’ vehicle:

• 5.9 grams of Fentanyl
• 32.6 grams of Cocaine
• 17.8 grams of Marijuana
• Several glass pipes with burnt cocaine residue

Both suspects were transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.
