Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)

PINELLAS COUNTY - Members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office DUI Unit were recognized at the 2022 Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Awards and Recognition Event. The event was held on July 29^th and July 30^th at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.

MADD hosted the recognition ceremony and dinner to show their gratitude and appreciation of the brave men and women, and their families, for keeping the roads and community safe.

The following deputies received the Century Achiever Award, which is awarded to any member who apprehends 100+ DUI offenders in a calendar year.

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.
