PINELLAS COUNTY - On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, multiple Pinellas County agencies participated in an Active Assailant Mass Casualty Exercise. The exercise was held at High Point Elementary School, located at 5921 150th Avenue North in Clearwater.

Several law enforcement agencies, fire departments, Sunstar, Pinellas County 9-1-1, Emergency Management, EMS, and the Pinellas County School Board participated. Sheriff Gualtieri and the Pinellas County Schools Superintendent, Kevin Hendrick, held a press conference as the exercise was concluding.
