The victim is a female under the age of 12. Per Florida Statute 119.071(2)(h)1 no further details will be released that would tend to identify the victim.

PINELLAS COUNTY – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested 38-year-old Scott Konash for one count of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation of a Child.

Investigators say the victim reported the molestation during an interview with an investigator from the Child Protection Investigation Division.

Detectives conducted various interviews and, throughout the lengthy investigation, became aware the crime occurred on more than one occasion.

On Monday, May 3, 2021, Konash was interviewed by detectives and placed under arrest. He transported to the Pinellas County Jail and is being held on one count of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation of a Child.
