Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)

Members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office DUI Unit were recognized at MADD Florida Statewide Law Enforcement Recognition Event.

The DUI Unit members were recognized on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

The event was held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Why/How:
Members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office DUI Unit were recognized at MADD Florida Statewide Law Enforcement Recognition Event on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

The event was hosted by Mothers Against Drunk Driving, to show their gratitude and appreciation of the brave men and women, and their families, for keeping the roads and community safe.

Deputy Blake and Deputy Ricottilli received the Century Award for making more than one hundred DUI arrests in the 2019 calendar year.

Deputy Blake received the 2020 Dedication to Drug Impaired Driving Enforcement award.

Sergeant Eastty received the 2020 Dedication to DUI Enforcement award.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office DUI Unit received MADD Florida’s 2019 Dedication to DUI Enforcement for a Large/Urban Agency and Dedication to Drug Impaired Driving Enforcement for Large/Urban Agency.

The mission of Mother’s Against Drunk Driving is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.
