Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Largo man for Possession of Child Pornography.

When:
The suspect was arrested at about 10:57 a.m. on February 13, 2020.

Where:
The suspect was arrested at his residence, located at 12300 Seminole Boulevard, Lot 84, in Largo.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Largo man for Possession of Child Pornography.

According to detectives, their investigation began in March 2019, after receiving tips from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to identify the suspect as 39-year-old Alexander Hunt. Detectives were able to recover numerous images depicting child pornography from Hunt’s electronic devices.

In an interview with detectives, Hunt admitted to viewing child pornography.

Detectives arrested Hunt and charged him with twenty counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Hunt was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.
