Charges: One count of Sexual Battery and one count of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation

The victim is a 15-year-old girl known to the suspect. Per Florida Statute 119.071, no further information will be released that would tend to identify the victim.

What:
Pinellas detectives have arrested a Dunedin man after he had inappropriate sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl.

When:
The incidents occurred on August 1, 2016 and on December 13, 2016.

Where:
The incidents occurred at a private residence in Pinellas County.

Why/How:
According to detectives, the victim was in the care of the suspect, identified as 32-year-old Jeremy Anthony, when he engaged the 15-year-old victim in sexual activity on at least two different occasions.

The victim disclosed the incidents to an adult, who reported it to the Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.   

Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to determine that the incidents did in fact take place.

Detectives interviewed Anthony at about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at the Sheriff’s Administration Building where he was subsequently arrested.

Anthony was charged with one count of Sexual Battery and one count of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation.

Anthony was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident. 

The investigation continues.
