What: Detectives assigned to the Sheriff’s Narcotics Division have arrested three individuals for Manufacturing Methamphetamine after a meth lab is discovered in St. Petersburg.
When: The suspects were arrested on Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
Where: The meth lab was discovered in a residence located at 1321 Mentone Drive in St. Petersburg.
Why/How: On Tuesday, May 31, 2016, deputies responded to the residence at 1321 Mentone Drive in St. Petersburg and during their investigation, they identified what was believed to be a possible meth lab.
Narcotics detectives arrived to the scene and through various investigative techniques, detectives determined a meth lab was operating at this location.
Forty-five-year-old Kimberly Phipps, 31-year-old Robert Boyd and 54-year-old Charles D. Hale were subsequently arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of Unlawful Listed Chemicals.
They were transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.
Detectives have taken possession of multiple chemicals and equipment utilized in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
The investigation continues.
