What:
Pinellas County detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle burglary suspect. 

When:
The theft occurred on March 16, 2016 at about 11 a.m. The suspect then used the victim’s debit card at 11:25 a.m. and again at 11:28 a.m.

Where:
The theft occurred at the Speedway Gas Station located at 33600 U.S. Highway 19 North in Palm Harbor. The suspect then used the victim’s debit card at a nearby Circle K and Walmart.

Why/How:
Pinellas County detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle burglary suspect in the Palm Harbor area. According to detectives, on March 16, 2016 at 11 a.m., the victim parked her vehicle at the fuel pump facing the highway at the Speedway Gas Station located at 33600 U.S. Highway 19 North in Palm Harbor.

After filling up her fuel tank, the victim went inside the store leaving her car doors unlocked with her purse sitting on the front passenger’s seat. When she returned to her car, she observed her purse had been stolen.

A male suspect was observed exiting a white Dodge Durango then entering the victim’s vehicle and removing her purse. On March 16, 2016, at 11:25 a.m. and again at 11:28 a.m., the suspect used the victim’s debit card at a nearby Circle K and Walmart to purchase items and received cash back. The suspect drove off in the same Durango captured on video.
