Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Special Victims Unit have arrested a Pinellas Park man for Possession of Child Pornography.

According to detectives, their investigation began in July of 2015 after receiving information that the suspect, identified as 24-year-old Reneir Atillo, was in possession of child pornography.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to recover 10 images depicting child pornography from Atillo’s computer.

Detectives arrested Atillo and charged him with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Detectives received information that Atillo is employed at at the Children’s Place in Tyrone Mall.  Efforts to determine if Atillio has any live victims related to his employment are ongoing.   

Atillo was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.

The investigation continues.
