What:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a bank robbery suspect who robbed a BB&T Bank.

When: 
The robbery occurred at approximately 11:33 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016.

Where:
The robbery occurred at the BB&T Bank located at 401 Indian Rocks Road, in Belleair Bluffs.

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a bank robbery suspect who robbed a BB&T Bank in Belleair Bluffs.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the BB&T Bank located at 401 Indian Rocks Road, in Belleair Bluffs, at approximately 11:33 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016.

Once inside the bank, the suspect walked up to the teller, presented a note demanding cash and implied that he had a weapon. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled from the bank on foot in a westbound direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 20 to 30-years-old, 5’9” to 6’0” tall, thin build, 150 lbs. to 175 lbs., unshaven, with light brown hair, wearing a gray jacket with orange or red lining and the word “Puma” on the left sleeve, a dark colored ball cap with “A” for the Atlanta Braves, baggy khaki pants, and a blue collared shirt buttoned to the top.
