Detectives assigned to the Special Victims Unit have arrested a Safety Harbor man for Possession of Child Pornography.

According to detectives, their investigation began on June 23, 2015, after receiving information that the suspect, identified as 64-year-old Ronald Santee, was in possession of child pornography.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to recover 10 images depicting child pornography from Santee’s computer.

Santee admitted to detectives that he intentionally downloaded the images of children involved in sexual acts.

Detectives arrested Santee and charged him with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Santee was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.
