Four robbery suspects were arrested during a multi-agency investigation that included Clearwater Police, Largo Police, Pinellas Park Police, St. Pete Police, Tampa Police, and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
According to detectives, two of the suspects arrested were responsible for the armed robbery at the Pit Stop Discount Beer, Wine & Tobacco located at 2201 North Hercules in unincorporated Clearwater at approximately 9:57 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015.
Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to identify the convenient store robbery suspects as 20-year-old Dwight Neal and 21-year-old Brandon Vicks. Neal was arrested on October 13, and Vicks was arrested on October 14, 2015.
They were transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident. The investigation continues.

What: Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two armed robbery suspects who robbed the Pit Stop Discount Beer, Wine & Tobacco.
When: The robbery occurred at approximately 9:57 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015.

According to detectives, the suspects entered the Pit Stop Discount Beer, Wine & Tobacco located at 2201 North Hercules in unincorporated Clearwater at approximately 9:57 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015.
Once inside the store, one of the suspects walked up to the counter, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The suspect then jumped over the counter, took an undisclosed amount of money and both suspects fled the store on foot.
The suspects were observed traveling northwest towards Palm Drive, where they entered a vehicle and began traveling westbound.
Prior to entering the Pit Stop Discount store, the suspects were believed to be seen at a nearby Circle K store.
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, early 20’s, 5’9”, 170 lbs., with a short black fade style haircut. He was last seen wearing a blue/black animal print shirt with black sleeves, beige cargo shorts, brown loafer type shoes, a white t-shirt around his neck with a white wristband on each wrist. He was also carrying a small black handgun.
Suspect #2 is described as a black male, early 20’s, 5’7”, 175 lbs., with black short hair. He was last seen wearing a black long sleeve hoodie with the word “GAP” on the front in white lettering, green camouflage cargo shorts and black shoes with yellow shoe laces.
The suspect’s vehicle description is unknown at this time.
