The incident occurred at a private residence in Largo.

Why/How:
On April 9, 2015 Crimes Against Children Detectives arrested a transient man, Charles Buskirk, for one count of Lewd & Lascivious Molestation On A Child Under 12.

On April 9, 2015 the complainant contacted the Sheriff's Office to advise he/she had witnessed the suspect commit a lewd and lascivious act on a 9-year-old female victim known to the suspect. During interviews with Crimes Against Children Detectives the 9 year old victim confirmed the incident occurred and stated it happened on more than one occasion (Tuesday April 7th and Wednesday April 8, 2015).

Buskirk was arrested and charged with Lewd & Lascivious Molestation On A Child Under 12 and was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.
