The victim is a 15-year-old female who was not known to the suspects. Per Fl. Statute, no further information will be released that would tend to identify the victim.

What:
Detectives have arrested two teenagers for one count of  Sexual Battery on a 15-year-old victim. 

When:
The incident occurred with both suspects on one occasion in January of 2015.

Where:
The crime occurred in a room on the campus of Dixie Hollins High School located at 4940 62^nd Street North in St. Petersburg.  

Why/How:
Detectives began their investigation on Monday, January 12, 2015 after the victim disclosed to deputies that she had been sexually battered by the suspects. She advised the battery occurred in a room on the campus of Dixie Hollins High School located at 4940 62^nd Street North in St. Petersburg.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit, identified the suspects as 17-year-old Kelvin King and 15-year-old Dontae Cook.

Detectives met with King and Cook on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. King and Cook were both charged with one count of Sexual Battery and were transported to the Pinellas Juvenile Assessment Center (PJAC) without further incident.

The investigation continues.
