The suspect in the Tuesday, November 18th robbery at Suntrust Bank in Oldsmar was arrested in Hillsborough County.

When:
The suspect was arrested on November 27, 2014.

Where:
The suspect was arrested in Hillsborough County.

The robbery occurred at the Suntrust Bank located at 3500 Tampa Road in Oldsmar.

Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit were advised that Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies had arrested a suspect in connection with a robbery that occurred on November 18th, 2014 at the Suntrust Bank in Oldsmar.

Pinellas detectives responded to interview the suspect, identified as 32-year-old David Lucas Olmedo. Olmedo was arrested for robbery.

According to detectives the suspect entered  the bank and demanded cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. (For further details see press release #14-305.)

Olmedo is being held at the Hillsborough County Jail.
