What: The third annual Corporal Robert P. Parlaman Sr. Memorial Invitational “Two Gun” Match is scheduled for this Saturday. Shooters from agencies around the Tampa Bay area are scheduled to participate.
When: The third annual Corporal Robert P. Parlaman Sr. Memorial Invitational “Two Gun” Match will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014. The gates open at 7:30 a.m. and the first relay begins at 9:00 a.m.
Where: The invitational will be held at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Firearms Training Facility located at 11700 34th Street North in Pinellas Park.
How/Why: The third annual Corporal Robert P. Parlaman Sr. Memorial Invitational “Two Gun” Match is scheduled for this Saturday, November 8, 2014. The gates open at 7:30 a.m. and the first relay begins at 9:00 a.m.
There will be three areas of competition which include a handgun match, a rifle match and a 6 plate steel handgun match.
76 individual shooters are scheduled to compete in the competition this Saturday. The participants include active and retired law enforcement and corrections members from agencies around the Tampa Bay area including the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
The event is open for public viewing and the media is invited to attend.
Media planning to cover the competition are asked to arrive between Noon and 2:00 p.m. to get the best visuals to include the 6 Plate Steel Handgun Match.
