PINELLAS COUNTY – Detectives assigned to the Robbery and Homicide Unit have arrested a man for a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank in South Pasadena.

On October 25, 2023, at approximately 3:39 p.m., the suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 1101 Pasadena Avenue South in South Pasadena. Once inside the bank, the suspect, later identified as 53-year-old Eric Delano Timmons, approached the teller and handed her a note demanding money.

Detectives say Timmons was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank. Responding deputies located Timmons five minutes later, and he was taken into custody.

Detectives interviewed Timmons, who admitted to the robbery.

Timmons was charged with one count of robbery and was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.

The investigation continues.
