Charges: Twenty counts of Possession of Child Pornography and five counts of Possession of Videos of Sexual Activity Involving Animals. 

PINELLAS COUNTY – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a Tarpon Springs man for possession of child pornography and possession of videos of sexual activity involving animals.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and stored via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 20-year-old Jacob Patrick Kane.

According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of under one year old to eleven years old. In addition to the child pornography, detectives located videos involving adults performing sexual activity with animals.

On October 24, 2023, detectives arrested Kane and charged him with twenty counts of Possession of Child Pornography and five counts of Possession of Videos of Sexual Activity Involving Animals.
