Suspects-
The suspects were described as an unidentified female and two unidentified males with Hispanic accents, wearing dark colored clothes, armed with a handgun.

What:
Pinellas deputies are investigating a home invasion after three unidentified subjects forced their way into a home and struck a man in Oldsmar. 

When:
The incident occurred at about 4:00 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018.

Where:
The home invasion occurred at a private residence located at 3155 Phoenix Avenue, Unit A, Oldsmar.

The burglary occurred at 3155 Phoenix Avenue, Unit B, Oldsmar.

Why/How:
According to deputies, at about 4:00 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018, 54-year-old Matthew Kosky was asleep in his home at 3155 Phoenix Avenue, Unit A, in Oldsmar, when he was awoken by a knock at his door.

When Kosky answered the door an unidentified female subject asked to use his phone. Kosky went to retrieve his phone when the female and two unidentified male subjects armed with a handgun forced their way into Kosky’s home and pushed him to the ground.

Deputies say one of the subjects struck Kosky on the head with a blunt object.

The subjects stole personal property belonging to Kosky and left the residence.

After leaving Kosky’s home, the same three subjects walked next door and entered the screened in porch of unit #B. The residents in unit #B, 52-year-old Donna Dowd and 33-year-old Eudis Nunez, heard someone breaking into their home and called 911.

The subject’s fled before making entry into the home.

Deputies from the K-9 Unit and the Flight Unit responded to assist in the search for the suspects but were unsuccessful.

Kosky was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The suspects were described as an unidentified female and two unidentified males with Hispanic accents, wearing dark colored clothes, armed with a handgun.
