The crimes occurred on various dates between 2014 and 2017.

The crimes occurred at a location in Pinellas County.   

Why/How:

Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested at St. Petersburg man for sexual battery and lewd & lascivious molestation of a 13-year old minor.

According to detectives, on March 19, 2017 a family member reported that the victim came forward and informed them that inappropriate sexual activity had taken place on multiple occasions with the suspect, 29-year-old Ronnie Kasten II. Detectives say that the victim was 11-years-of-age when the first incident occurred in 2014.

Kasten was arrested on Monday, March 20, 2017 and transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident. Kasten was charged with one count of sexual battery and one count of lewd and lascivious molestation
