What:
Deputies are investigating a shooting that occurred in unincorporated Clearwater. One person was arrested and two other suspects are being sought. No one was injured during the shooting. This does not appear to be a random act of violence. 

When:
Deputies responded to the shooting at approximately 1:48 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014.

Where:
Deputies responded to the shooting at 1731 South Washington Avenue in unincorporated Clearwater.

Why/How:
Deputies are investigating a shooting that occurred at 1731 South Washington Avenue in unincorporated Clearwater at approximately 1:48 p.m. this afternoon.

According to deputies, the suspect Christina Nelson and two other unidentified suspects had a confrontation with two victims over money. During the confrontation, Nelson was overheard telling the two other suspects to shoot at the victims. One of the unidentified suspects shot at the two victims and the three suspects fled the area.

No one was injured during the shooting.

Christina Nelson was located a short time later at her home and was arrested and charged with two counts of Attempted Murder. Nelson was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.

Deputies are now working to identify the two other suspects.

This does not appear to be a random act of violence.

The investigation continues.
