The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has volunteer opportunities through their Volunteers in Partnership (VIP) program. VIPs can potentially work anywhere in the agency providing a valuable service to Sheriff’s Office staff and at a great savings to taxpayers.

VIP Program Requirements

  • Must be a citizen of the United States
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Successfully complete a program application

There are no minimum service hour requirements and VIPs can set their own hours relative to their assignment.
