Why/How:
Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Palm Harbor man for multiple counts of lewd and lascivious battery and lewd or lascivious molestation of a minor.

According to detectives, their investigation began on February 12, 2017, after the parent of the 12-year-old victim found sexually explicit messages on the child’s computer device. The parent notified the authorities.

When interviewed by detectives, the victim disclosed that she had inappropriate sexual activity with, 47-year-old Terrence Rosenow, on multiple occasions between January 19, 2017, and January 25, 2017. Detectives say that the victim was known to Rosenow.

On February 20, 2017, detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of Rosenow, for four counts of lewd or lascivious battery and one count of lewd or lascivious molestation of a minor.

At about 2 p.m. on February, 23, 2017, Rosenow was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office in Canby, Oregon, where he was working.
