Major Paul Halle's law enforcement career began in 1985 as a patrolman with the Treasure Island Police Department.  Joining the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 1990, Major Halle has worked a variety of assignments at the sheriff’s office including: Patrol, Street Crimes, Corporal in the Field Training, Burglary Detective, Tactical Apprehension and Control Units, Robbery, and the Child Protection Investigation Division. Previously serving as the Captain of the Special Operations Division and Colonel over the Department of Detention and Corrections.

Major Halle’s assignment to the Patrol Operations Bureau has him overseeing all patrol services within the North, Central, and Special Operations Divisions including:
