On December 10, 2022, deputies arrested 62-year-old John Dennelly. Dennelly is the owner of the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. Deputies say he was driving the truck on the evening of December 6, 2022, when it was involved in the fatal hit and run crash that killed Felicia White.
Dennelly was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death and transported to the Pinellas County Jail.

Deputies located the suspect vehicle involved in the fatal hit and run crash that occurred on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 and killed 46-year-old pedestrian, Felicia White. The vehicle is a 2020 blue Chevrolet Silverado.

PINELLAS COUNTY - Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a hit-and-run vehicle. On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, 46-year-old pedestrian Felicia White was struck and killed in a designated crosswalk in Treasure Island.
According to investigators, the suspect vehicle is described as a dark blue 2016 to 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Regular Cab Work Truck.
Anyone with information regarding the driver or the whereabouts of the vehicle are asked to call the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office at 727-582-6200.

Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Operations Bureau -Major Accident Investigation Team
Felicia White (Pedestrian – Deceased) DOB: 10/13/1976
PINELLAS COUNTY - On December 6, 2022, at approximately 7:45 p.m., deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) responded to Gulf Boulevard and 108th Avenue North in Treasure Island to investigate a fatal hit and run vehicle versus pedestrian crash.
According to investigators, 46-year-old pedestrian Felicia White was in a marked crosswalk walking northbound on Gulf Boulevard, crossing 108th Avenue North. A dark blue pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet Silverado, was traveling southbound on Gulf Boulevard and entered the left turn lane to head eastbound on 108th Avenue North. Investigators say the pickup truck struck White in the crosswalk and fled the scene.
White was pronounced deceased at the scene. Next of kin has been notified.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark blue pickup truck, possibly a Chevy Silverado. Updates on the suspect vehicle will be made as they become available.
