PINELLAS COUNTY – On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, deputies assigned to the Patrol Operations Bureau issued a Silver Alert for 79-year-old I V Spears Jr.

According to investigators, Spears was last seen by his family at approximately 2:00 p.m. on January 25, 2022 at his residence located at 2872 La Concha Drive in Clearwater.

Spears is believed to be driving a 2015 Blue Subaru Legacy, bearing Florida tag DALR49. The vehicle has a rear bumper sticker that says “USAA”. He suffers from memory loss and has several other health concerns. Spears recently mentioned to family that he wanted to go to Texas.

He is described as a black male, 5’06” tall, medium build, wearing a black long sleeved shirt with a zipper and black pants.

Spears has been entered into FCIC/NCIC as a Missing/Endangered Adult. If you have any information on Spears’ whereabouts, you are asked to notify law enforcement immediately.
