George Meuth was found at a hotel by the Clanton County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama. He is in good condition and will be reunited with his family.

PINELLAS COUNTY – On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, deputies assigned to the Patrol Operations Bureau issued a Silver Alert for 80-year-old George Meuth.

According to investigators, Meuth was last seen by family members at home in the evening of April 12^th. He told his family he wanted to drive to Kentucky to see a relative but decided to go to bed. When his family members returned home from work the next evening they discovered he was missing.

Meuth was last seen driving a light blue Hyundai Entourage mini-van with Florida tag 9575XN. Meuth, who suffers from memory issues, was last seen in the Tallahassee area at a gas station. Bystanders notified law enforcement of a confused elderly male, however, Meuth left prior to law enforcement’s arrival.

He is described as a white male standing approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 170-180 pounds with white hair, glasses, and a thin build.

Meuth’s vehicle was spotted driving eastbound on Highway 90 in Tallahassee at approximately 10:47 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
