George Meuth was found at a hotel by the Clanton County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama. He is in good condition and will be reunited with his family.

PINELLAS COUNTY – On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, deputies assigned to the Patrol Operations Bureau issued a Silver Alert for 80-year-old George Meuth.

According to investigators, Meuth was last seen by family members at home in the evening of April 12th. He told his family he wanted to drive to Kentucky to see a relative but decided to go to bed. When his family members returned home from work the next evening they discovered he was missing.

Meuth was last seen driving a light blue Hyundai Entourage mini-van with Florida tag 9575XN. Meuth, who suffers from memory issues, was last seen in the Tallahassee area at a gas station. Bystanders notified law enforcement of a confused elderly male, however, Meuth left prior to law enforcement’s arrival.

He is described as a white male standing approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 170-180 pounds with white hair, glasses, and a thin build.

Meuth’s vehicle was spotted driving eastbound on Highway 90 in Tallahassee at approximately 10:47 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
