Wood is being evaluated at a local hospital and then will be reunited with family.

What:
A Silver Alert has been issued for 86-year-old Bernard Wood, of Seminole. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.

When:
The man was last seen at the Freedom Square Independent Living Facility at about 11:30 a.m., on Monday, June 3, 2019.

The man was last seen in Pinellas County at about 3:30 p.m., on Monday, June 3, 2019.

The man was reported to have been seen in Tallahassee at about 11:30 p.m., on Monday, June 3, 2019.

Where:
The man was reported missing from the Freedom Square Independent Living Facility located at 10900 Temple Terrace in Seminole, at about 5:37 p.m., on Monday, June 3, 2019.

The man was last seen at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office North District Station, asking for directions, at approximately 3:30 p.m., on Monday, June 3, 2019.

The man was reported to have been seen in the 3600 block of Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee at about 11:30 p.m., on Monday, June 3, 2019.

Why/How:
Deputies have issued a Silver Alert for 86-year-old Bernard Wood, of Seminole.

Wood was reported missing from the Freedom Square Independent Living Facility located at 10900 Temple Terrace in Seminole, at about 5:37 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019. Wood was last seen at the facility at approximately 11:30 a.m., on June 3, 2019.

Wood was last seen in Pinellas County, at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office North District Station, asking for directions, at approximately 3:30 p.m., on Monday, June 3, 2019.

Deputies say Wood was possibly seen in the 3600 block of Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee at approximately 11:30 p.m., on Monday, June 3, 2019.

Wood is described as a white male, approximately 5’8” tall, 160 lbs., blue eyes, with gray short hair. Wood was last seen wearing a white or gray button down shirt with pens and a notepad in his front shirt pocket, shorts, white tennis shoes, and a pair of glasses.

Deputies say Wood is likely driving his black 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Florida tag # 2321XI.

Wood suffers from memory issues. Deputies say Wood left his residence without his cellphone.  

Wood has been entered into FCIC/NCIC as a missing endangered adult. A Silver Alert has been issued.

Anyone with information on Wood’s whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.
