What:
Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Seminole man for Possession of Child Pornography.

When:                
The suspect was arrested at about 9:54 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018.

Where:
The suspect was arrested at his residence located at 11135 Valencia Avenue, Seminole.

Why/How: 
Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Seminole man for Possession of Child Pornography.

According to detectives, their investigation began in November 2017, after receiving information that the suspect, identified as 44-year-old Paul Marceau was in possession of child pornography.

Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to recover numerous images depicting child pornography from Marceau’s personal home computer.

Detectives say Marceau admitted he had the knowledge and capability of accessing/downloading, “movies” illegally on his computer but declined to speak with investigators further.

Detectives arrested Marceau and charged him with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Marceau was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.

The investigation continues.
