What:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a bank robbery suspect who robbed a Jefferson Bank of Florida.

When: 
The robbery occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016.

Where:
The robbery occurred at the Jefferson Bank of Florida, located at 35320 U.S. Highway 19 N., in Palm Harbor.

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a bank robbery suspect who robbed a Jefferson Bank of Florida, in Palm Harbor.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the Jefferson Bank of Florida, located at 35320 U.S. Highway 19 N., in Palm Harbor, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016.

Once inside the bank, the suspect displayed a black handgun and demanded cash. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled from the bank traveling in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 to 50-years-old, 5’10” to 5’11” tall, heavy build, 230 lbs. to 240 lbs., wearing a surgeons mask, white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a blue colored Tampa Bay Rays ball cap.

Detectives believe the same suspect has robbed this same Jefferson Bank of Florida, located 35320 U.S. Highway 19 N., in Palm Harbor previously on June 24, 2016.
