What:
Deputies have arrested a bank robbery suspect in Seminole.

When:
The bank robbery occurred at approximately 8:21 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016. The suspect was arrested a short time later.

Where:
The robbery occurred at the Florida Central Credit Union located at 8202 113th Street North in Seminole. The suspected was arrested at a residence located at 11923 84th Avenue North in Seminole.

Why/How:
Deputies have arrested a bank robbery suspect in Seminole.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the Florida Central Credit Union located at 8202 113th Street North in Seminole at about 8:21 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016.

Once inside the credit union, the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and he exited the bank. The suspect fled from the bank on foot.

Deputies responded to the area and began searching for the suspect. During the search, deputies were informed by a nearby resident that a subject matching the description was trying to break into their residence. Deputies responded to the residence and located the suspect, 23-year-old Dylan Conroy.

During an interview with detectives, Conroy admitted to the robbery. The money that was stolen from the bank was recovered by deputies.

Conroy was arrested and transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.

Conroy was charged with one count of robbery, one count of attempted burglary to a dwelling, and one count of resisting an officer without violence.

The investigation continues.
