Missing elderly man, Thomas Cowley, has been located by authorities in Georgia. He is in good physical condition and he will be reunited with his family later today. The Silver Alert has been CANCELED.

Deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing elderly man.

When:
The man has been missing since 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016.

Where:
The man was last seen leaving his residence located at 29250 U.S. Highway 19 N., Lot #29, in unincorporated Clearwater.

Why/How:
Deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing elderly man in Clearwater.

According to deputies, 85-year-old Thomas Cowley was last seen leaving his residence at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016. A family member saw Cowley driving their 2011 brown Chrysler Town & Country van with Indiana tag #249AMP.

Deputies say that Cowley was driving to the front office of the mobile home park and made no mention of where else he was going. Cowley suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss.

The van that Cowley was driving had a Doral Mobile Home Park sticker on the rear window and a handicap placard hanging on the rear view mirror.

Cowley has been entered as missing endangered into the FCIC/NCIC data base and a Silver Alert has been issued.

Cowley is described as a white male, 5’9” tall, 195 lbs., with brown eyes, and balding gray hair. There is no clothing description.

Anyone with information that may assist deputies in locating Thomas Cowley is urged to contact local law enforcement.
