Missing Person

Detectives have located the body of a missing Palm Harbor man.

According to detectives, deputies responded to a residence located at 200 Glennes Lane in Dunedin, where they located the body of 35-year-old Shayne Griffin. Griffin was originally reported missing on February 13, 2016.  

A death investigation is currently under way; however, detectives say that Griffin’s death does not appear suspicious in nature.

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Palm Harbor man.

When:
Shayne was last seen at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016.

Where:
Shayne was last seen leaving his residence located at 3100 North Canal Drive in Palm Harbor.

Why/How:
Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance on locating a missing Palm Harbor man who left his home on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Shayne Christian Griffin is described as a 35-year-old white male, 6’02” tall, 200 lbs. with red hair, a goatee and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown Aeropostale hoodie, with possibly a blue long sleeved shirt with Superman print underneath, blue jeans and black sneakers. Shayne also has a tattoo in the form of a cross on the inside of his right forearm.

Shayne was last seen driving a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, white in color, with Florida tag EJKT89. The Dodge Caravan has dark tint on the rear windows and there is a White Water Rapids sticker on the back window.

Shayne has been entered into the FCIC/NCIC database as missing and endangered due to his current mental state and medication that he may need that he did not take with him.
