What:
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking qualified medical professionals for current opening in the Department of Detention and Corrections.

When:
The Healthcare Career Fair is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. this Saturday, February 27, 2016.

Where:
The Health Career Fair will be held at the Pinellas County Jail located at 14400 49^th Street North in Clearwater.

Why/How:
The Sheriff’s Office is currently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Medical Assistants with some experience.

The Health Career Fair will be offering tours of the jail facility every 30 minutes beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday February 27th; and will provide interested persons with information and a close-up look at what a career in correctional healthcare can offer.

The Sheriff’s Office offers great benefits, stability, and a safe environments. The Sheriff’s Office requires applicants to be “tobacco/nicotine free” for a six-month period prior to application and during length of employment.
