Members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 900 recently hosted the 4th Annual Explorer Holiday Invitational Shoot.

When:

The 4th Annual Explorer Holiday Invitational Shoot was held at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office firearms facility.

Why/How:
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 900 hosted the 4th Annual Explorer Holiday Invitational Shoot on Sunday, December 27, 2015. The Holiday Invitational Shoot was held at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office firearms facility.

Explorers from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, Tampa Police Department, St. Petersburg Police Department and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office participated in the event.

Over 40 explorers competed in the shoot competition. The event promoted a friendly firearms competition between explorers and their posts, and gave them an opportunity to share in each other’s company. The Tampa Police Explorer Team won the team competition. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Explorer Team came in second place and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Explorer Team took third place.

In the individual shoot, the top ten shooters were recognized as follows:

1st -Brendan Crace – Tampa Police Department
2nd -Jon Mohr– Seminole County Sheriff’s Office
3rd-Spencer Shaw – Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office
4th- Max Dulski – Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office
5th- Andrew Aponte – Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office
6th- Algenis Maceo – Tampa Police Department
7th- Victoria Rutenbeck – St. Petersburg Police Department
8th- Corey Foxworth – Tampa Police Department
9th- Kyle Skidmore – Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office
10th- Brent Duncan – Seminole County Sheriff’s Office
