When:
The near drowning occurred at about 2:48 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015.

Where:

Why/How:
Detectives say 6-year-old Matthew Dixon and his friends were playing with water guns and super soakers around the pool area of his home, when Dixon fell into the water.

According to investigators, 10-year-old Destiny Reny, noticed that Dixon was not coming out; and went into the pool to try to get him out.  When she could not get him out, she went to get Dixon’s older brother, 14-year-old Michael Woodward. Detectives say Woodward pulled Dixon from the water. Dixon’s mother, 42-year-old, Kelly Woodward and a neighbor then alternated performing CPR until Seminole Fire Rescue personnel arrived on scene.
