What:
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office along with various other law enforcement agencies and organizations will join the Springtime Club of Clearwater for the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims.

When:
The event will be held from 7:00  to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25th, 2015.

Where:
The event will be held at the Ross Norton Recreation and Aquatic Complex located at 1426 South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Clearwater.

Why/How:
The observance, which will include a candlelight vigil, seeks to remember the casualties of violence and to bring the community together to shed light on those homicides that remain unsolved.

The event will highlight the partnership between the Springtime Club and law enforcement; as well as provide victims’ families an opportunity to reach out to the community for assistance in solving a case.

A dinner-reception will also be held.

The Springtime Club organization serves as a community advocate for victims of crime and works to raise awareness of unsolved murder cases.

The event is open to the public.
