The victim is currently a 16-year-old female who is known to the suspect. The crime has been occurring since the victim was 10-years-old. Per Florida Statute 119.071(2)(h)1 no further details will be released that would tend to identify the victim.

Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Seminole man for two counts of sexual battery.

According to detectives, their investigation began on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 after the victim disclosed to a friend that inappropriate sexual contact had occurred, on multiple occasions, between her and the suspect since she was the age of 10. The victim is now 16-years-old and known to the suspect. The friend in turn contacted authorities.

Through various investigative techniques, the suspect was identified as 43-year-old Vincent Stallman.

Detectives met with Stallman on Wednesday, May 13, 2015. He was arrested and charged with 1 count Capital Sexual Battery, Child Under 12 and 1 count Sexual Battery Familial Authority.

Stallman was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.
