“Elisa’s Greatest Wishes” 5K Run

What:

The Sheriff’s Office is supporting the “Elisa’s Greatest Wishes” 5k run this weekend. 

Elisa was riding her bike to Palm Harbor Middle School on the morning of November 4, 1980 when she was abducted and subsequently murdered. The Sheriff’s Office investigated the case. The suspect was arrested and executed in April of 2013 for the killing.

When:
The Elisa’s Greatest Wishes event will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015. The 5k race starts at 8:00 a.m. and the 1 mile fun run starts at 9:00 a.m.

Where:
The Elisa’s Greatest Wishes 5k will be held at Wall Springs Park located at 3725 Desoto Blvd. in Palm Harbor.

Why/How:
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is supporting the “Elisa’s Greatest Wishes” 5k run this weekend.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Wall Springs Park located at 3725 Desoto Blvd. in Palm Harbor.

The 5k race starts at 8:00 a.m. and the 1 mile fun run starts at 9:00 a.m.

The 5k race is $25 in advance/$30 day of the race. The 1 mile fun run is $12 in advance/$15 day of the race.

The race proceeds will be used to buy books for school libraries, fund scholarships, Girl Scouts, youth athletics, help sick children, animal charities or anything else that was in Elisa’s nature to help.
