The Sheriff’s Office has been provided the air date of the first COPS story featuring Pinellas County deputies.

When:
The story will air at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015.

Where:
The show airs on SPIKE TV.

Why/How:
After nearly 12 weeks of production with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, COPS is launching its first episode to include Pinellas deputies this coming Saturday, January 10 at 8:00 p.m. on SPIKE TV.

COPS production with Pinellas deputies ran from September through December 2014. Two crews rode over that time frame with multiple deputies in both North and South County in order to capture stories for COPS’ 27^th season. (For more information see release #14-328.)

The crews captured about 10 stories in all featuring the great work done by Pinellas deputies on a daily basis. The stories will air throughout the season. The full COPS schedule for episodes including Pinellas deputies is yet to be released. The Sheriff’s office will update as soon additional air dates are available.
