What:
COPS is on its final day final day of production with deputies of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. The crews' nearly 12 week stint has yielded about 10 stories for season 27 of Langley Productions' COPS.

Pinellas deputies and COPS crew members will be available to interested media prior to their final ride-along.

When:
Production with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office began on September 16, 2014  and ran through December 12, 2014 with one week off for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Deputies and members of the COPS crew will be available at 2:30  p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014.

Where:
Crews worked with deputies in both north and south county.

The availability will be held at the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office located at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo.

Why/How:
Over a dozen Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies will be featured in Season # 27 of the popular police reality TV show COPS. The show will provide an opportunity for the great work done by Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies on a daily basis to be showcased to a nationwide audience.

The "stories" set to air have captured deputies handling a variety of calls for service which included arrest scenarios involving drugs, domestics, and even a burglary.

Five COPS crew members in all divided up for coverage in both  South County and  North County, and were provided ride-alongs with dozens of deputies. The crews rode for full 8 hour shifts from Tuesdays through Saturdays for the nearly 12 weeks.

The first COPS story featuring Pinellas deputies will run in early January 2015 on SPIKE TV. The Sheriff's Office will update with specific dates and times as the schedule is finalized.
