Deputies are investigating a fatal construction accident which occurred at the Sky Trap and Skeet Club at 3200 74th Avenue North at approximately 3:44 p.m.

John J. Winchester, an employee of Woodruff and Sons Construction, was operating a vibratory roller; which is a steam roller that vibrates to pack the sand. While backing up, south bound, on an embankment the roller flipped west. John was pinned under the metal roof. Construction crews were eventually able to remove the roller and John was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The investigation continues.
