Jennifer S. Crockett joined the Sheriff’s Office in 2012.  She has worked in the General Counsel’s Office and the Office of the Sheriff.  Jennifer was appointed to Director of Public Relations in 2015.  Her responsibilities include the Office of the Sheriff along with the three components in the Public Relations Bureau: Crime Prevention and Community Awareness Unit, Communications and Public Education, and the Public Information Office.

Jennifer grew up in Pinellas County and attended St. Petersburg High School.  She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from Florida Southern College.  She completed training and requirements under the Florida Center for Public Management at the Florida State University (FSU) for a Certificate in Supervisory Management and holds the designation of Certified Public Manager (CPM) from FSU.  Prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office, she worked with the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners.
