Deputies responded to a residential construction accident that has left one man dead.
When:
Deputies responded at about noon on Friday, November 23, 2012.
Where:
The incident occurred at 8080 Robin Road in Seminole.
Why/How:
According to deputies, the three men had purchased the home on Robin Road this past spring. The three, who are related, were working on an addition to the home during the morning hours of Friday November 23, when an eight-foot concrete slab gave way and fell on 52-year-old Arben Berberi. Berberi died at the scene.
Neither 36-year-old Genci Shkullaku, the victim’s brother in law, nor 70-year-old Shahin Shkullaku, the victim’s father-in-law were injured.
Deputies say the incident appears to be accidental in nature.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct its investigation to determine cause and manner of death.
The investigation continues.
