The following are answers to the most often asked questions to the Fugitives Unit:
 
  • The PCSO Fugitive Unit does not give out warrant information over the phone.  You can come into the office and obtain the information, or go to  the following web site www.fdle.state.fl.us.

  • How to take care of a warrant:
    • Turn yourself in to the Pinellas County Jail at 14400 49th Street N., Clearwater, FL
    • The jail accepts bonds and fines on Warrants from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday-Thursday and 8:00 AM -12:00 PM on Friday.
    • You may bring the full amount of the bond to the jail or make arrangements with a Bail Bond Agent. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office cannot and will not recommend a Bail Bond Agent; please refer to the telephone book or internet.
    • Cash bonds in the full amount of the warrant are accepted in cash, cashier’s check or money order only. No personal checks are accepted. Cashier’s checks and money orders should be made payable to the Clerk of the Circuit Court
 
  • How to take care of a Parking Ticket Warrant:
    • Parking ticket Warrants can be paid at local traffic courts or the Pinellas County Jail
    • Per the Clerk of the Circuit Court, we cannot accept payments at the jail for parking tickets issued by St. Petersburg, St. Pete Beach, or Clearwater. The person must take care of these tickets at the applicable court in those cities.
