Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office “CARES” – is controlled and operated by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office located at 10750 Ulmerton Rd., Largo, FL 33778. Those who choose to access this site do so on their own initiative and are responsible for complying with all local laws, rules and regulations.

Mission Statement.

Our pets are part of our family and when they are lost, a part of us is lost as well. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office created a website that is available to enter a lost or found animal without delay. “PCSO C.A.R.E.S ” (Pinellas County Animal Rescue and Entry System) site is available 24 hours a day. With the implementation of this site it is our hope that the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office can help reunite a beloved pet with its family. We thank you for visiting our site and hope that this site will be a valuable tool to assist in the recovery of your pet.

When To Call

In Florida, simply dialing 9-1-1 in an emergency connects you to EMS, law enforcement, and the fire rescue.

The 9-1-1 system is for emergencies only – serious vehicle crashes, critical medical situations, crimes in progress, or fire.
